Riesling St. Remigiusberg, Tesch
Another delicious Riesling from Martin Tesch in the Nahe region of Germany. This one is incredibly exciting, layered, and rich. A strong, dry white German wine made from the Riesling grape.
This dry white wine comes from the small St. Remigiusberg vineyard and represents the finest Riesling Tesch can make. He strives to express the terroir of each of his vineyards in the wine.
All Riesling vines are from the same clone. Winemaking is also the same for each vineyard. The only difference is the soil. With Riesling, you can taste that perfectly.
Dr. Martin Tesch is a microbiologist and therefore knows exactly what the yeasts are doing in his wines. He works with extreme precision and makes no compromises. When he took over the business from his father, he radically changed course. From a bland, sweet wine, he transitioned to exciting and sensational. Crisply dry, mineral, pure terroir expression. With international success.
